Hi! I’m Laurel, and I’ve never met a creature I didn’t love. Since I was 5 years old, I’ve loved and owned animals of all kinds. My closest connection to any pet was to my family dog, Phoebe, who passed away in 2020 after 16 years together. I took care of Phoebe, who had dementia and required special assistance, until her last days.
I have taken care of many animals while their owners were out of town for days or weeks at a time. I visited their dogs and cats twice a day to feed, walk, play fetch, and give them as many pets as they desired.
I am open to working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Unless you have a routine I should follow, a typical service with me would involve walking or running with them for 30 min to an hour (depending on their needs), going to their favorite park, feeding, playing, and receiving lots of pets from me twice a day for at least 1 hour per visit. I am a full time post-graduate student with classes 2 days/week.

My primary motivation for being a pet sitter is because I love animals and I miss being around them. While I am unable to have a dog of my own right now, I would love more than anything to care for yours!
