Who am I, and what services do I offer?

Hi there! I am a 26-year-old young professional with a great passion for animals.

I have loved cats and dogs since I can remember: they have been my childhood friends, and my companions in life. Growing up with both cats and dogs around me soon made me realise how important it is to properly take care of their needs. This has greatly helped me in my experience as a pet owner and a pet sitter.

I offer pet care directly at the owner's home (unfortunately my current contract does not allow me to have any pets staying at my own house), and I am generally available from late afternoon onwards, for both dog walking and at-home pet sitting. I have experience with adult, male and female cats and dogs (I have dealt with difference breeds and sizes), but also puppies and kittens, as well as rabbits. I'm also experienced in dealing with oral medication, even with cats who tend to not be too keen on their pills, and with pets who might have disabilities.

I have been an active petsitter for Pawshake for the last 5 years, and I have become well acquainted with how the different services offered on the website work. Working with Pawshake has also given me the opportunity to meet several wonderful pets, and several equally fantastic owners, and I hope to continue this in the future. I am based in Headington and work in Summertown, but I generally have no problem in covering areas that are slightly further away, such as Oxford city centre or Cowley and Iffley Road, as I normally tend to cycle to town and everywhere else.

Given the current situation, I try to be as safe as possible when visiting owners and pets: I've always got my trusted face mask with me, which I'll bring to the owner's house at the time of the meet and greet, or when providing care for the pets. As things are changing so rapidly, I also have a flexible cancellation policy, just in case either the owner(s) or I were affected by this quickly changing situation.
