Hi, I’m Beatrice😊

I’m a certified dog trainer, and I’ve always lived with both dogs and cats, many of whom had difficult pasts or traumatic experiences.  

As a psychology student with a strong interest in animal behaviour, I pay close attention to body language and emotional signals, adapting my care to each pet’s personality, routines, and needs. 

Both my personal life experience and my psychological studies have naturally shaped my approach where I care for animals with patience, sensitivity, and deep respect for their boundaries, always prioritising their sense of safety and trust.  

I’m especially experienced with dogs and cats of different ages and temperaments from sensitive, shy, anxious, or rescue animals, and I deeply value calm, respectful, and mindful care. I truly believe that animals feel when they are understood. Some pets want play and connection, others need calm routines, space, and quiet companionship. I’m comfortable with both, and I never rush or force interactions. In any situation I use gentle, positive handling and focus on creating a relaxed, safe environment where pets can feel at ease.

In my daily care, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and medication if needed. I’m comfortable administering basic medication as instructed and always monitor pets closely for signs of stress or discomfort. In case of an emergency, I remain calm, contact the owner immediately, and follow agreed instructions or seek veterinary care if necessary.

I’m reliable, caring, and I take the trust of looking after someone’s pet very seriously. I’ll always respect your pet’s routine and your home, and I’m happy to keep you updated with messages and photos while you’re away.
