Hi everyone! My name is Lara, ım 20, and I’m currently studying Arts at the Sorbonne. I’m originally from Istanbul, Turkey, and I’ve been living in Paris since 2024. I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and I grew up surrounded by them.

I have a nine-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who has been a very important part of my life. Although he is currently staying in Turkey, caring for him has given me plenty of hands-on experience with the everyday needs and routines of a dog, from walks and feeding to playtime, attention and keeping a consistent routine. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, and I always take the time to understand each dog’s individual habits and needs.

I usually offer walks starting from 15 minutes up to 60 minutes, depending on the dog’s age, energy level and routine. Walks can take place around your neighbourhood, in nearby parks and green spaces in Paris. I live right next to Parc Montsouris which is a great place to walk dogs but ı will be happy to come to your neighbourhood as well to take the route they are used to take. I think it’s important to adapt the pace and length of the walk to your dog rather than using a one-size-fits-all routine.

I’m happy to spend several hours or a full day with dogs who are comfortable in my care. During daycare, I make sure they have regular walks, lots of playtime ( as long as they are up for it), rest and plenty of love and attention. For longer stays, I follow the owner’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine as closely as possible. And ı understand that every dog has their own set of rituals to follow in order to make them as comfortable as possible while in someone else’s care. I would always discuss your dog’s routine and needs with you beforehand.

During a home visit, I can provide fresh water, food according to your instructions, walks, playtime, companionship and general care. I’m also happy to send you as many updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing and are at ease.

I don’t leave dogs alone when they are booked for daycare or boarding. I always make sure they feel safe and happy when in my care. The exact amount of time would depend on the individual dog and what they are already comfortable with.

For medication, I’m comfortable following clear instructions for basic care and giving medication when it is straightforward and explained to me in advance. I’m not able to provide veterinary treatment or handle medical procedures that require professional training.

My priority is always for your pet to feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I’ll do my best to make their routine feel familiar while giving them lots of love, patience and attention. 🐾💗
