Hello, I'm Rita! I am a recent graduate from an MA figuring out life. One thing I know for sure is that I LOVE animals, and I want to focus my future energies on them.

I have lots of experience with dogs. I grew up with a miniature pinscher named Coco, whom I helped to train and walk as a child. (She is still alive at 17 years old, so we must have done something right!) My partner and I also recently welcome a cocker spaniel named Sesame into our lives. He is now 7 months old, and it has been such a pleasure seeing him grow and experiencing our training paying off. You can rest assured that I have plenty of knowledge and patience to keep your dog safe and happy!

I usually take my dogs to a green area so that they can run around more freely and enjoy different scents. If your dog is reliable off-leash, or if you use a longer leash, we can play fetch in environments like this. My walks usually last between 30-40 minutes, and I will make sure that your dog gets both physical and mental exercise. I am also happy to extend the walks and incorporate other activities if your dog requires more exercise. If you choose my daycare services, your dog will get two walks per day -- once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Due to space limitations, I can only welcome dogs <18kg into my home. Additionally, I will have to make sure your dog and Sesame are compatible before I can agree to a daycare appointment. I recommend meeting in a park so that the dogs can get to know each other in a neutral space. We will also discuss whether your dog is potty-trained, whether they have a tendency to chew on household objects, etc. If everything goes well, your dog will be welcomed into an open-plan apartment with plenty of toys and a crate for naptime. You will also get plenty of pictures/messages to keep you updated on how your dog is doing. There is unfortunately no outdoor space at the apartment, but your dog will get plenty of exercise on walks!

Please also ensure that your dog is up-to-date on his/her vaccinations! I will also note down any medical issues I should be aware of, and we will agree upon a course of action in case of emergencies.
