Hi there! I’m Kushala, a current Master’s student with a lifelong passion for animals and a deep appreciation for the joy they bring into our lives. Growing up surrounded by pets, caring for animals has always been second nature to me—from managing daily routines to giving plenty of affection and attention. Alongside my personal experience, I’ve spent years pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, which has taught me how to read animal body language, handle unexpected situations, and keep routines consistent so your pets feel completely secure.

Here is a breakdown of what I offer to keep your furry family members happy while you’re away:

• Dog Walking (45–60 minutes): A brisk, engaging walk tailored to your dog’s energy level, complete with fresh water refills, paw cleaning, and a few good belly rubs before I leave.
• Drop-In Visits (30–45 minutes): Ideal for cats or low-maintenance pets. Includes feeding, water refreshes, litter box or cage cleaning, playtime, and administering basic oral medication if needed.
• Overnight House Sitting: I stay at your home to maintain your pet’s exact routine, keeping them in their familiar environment while providing round-the-clock companionship and basic home security.

Pets I Welcome: I primarily care for dogs of all sizes, cats, and small pocket pets like hamsters or rabbits. However, because I am currently balance my studies with sitting, I am unable to care for pets with severe behavioral aggression, unmanaged separation anxiety, or giant breeds that require specialized handling.

Home Environment & Practical Details: As a student, my schedule is quite flexible, giving me dedicated blocks of time throughout the day to focus entirely on your pet. If boarding or day care is needed at my place, I offer a calm, clean, student-friendly home without resident pets or young children. I do ask that all dogs be fully house-trained and up to date on core vaccinations.
