About Ivanna
Hi! I'm Ivanna, and dogs have always been a big part of my life. I rescued my own dog from the street, cared for him, helped him recover, and looked after him with love every day. That experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog's needs. I would be happy to give your dog the same care, attention, and affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks, and being active, so taking care of dogs is something I truly enjoy. I can organize my schedule to provide regular walks, attention, and care throughout the day. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they are with me. If caring for a pet in my home, I create a safe and calm space where they can feel relaxed and cared for. My priority is always the pet’s well-being and making sure they feel happy and secure while they are with me.
If a dog feels sad or misses their owner, I stay calm, give them attention, and try to keep their usual routine so they feel more comfortable. If they are scared, I never force interaction — I let them approach me at their own pace and build trust gently. For energetic and curious dogs, I make walks engaging with play, exploration, and positive attention.
I prefer to care for one or two dogs at a time so I can give each of them my full attention and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
I have experience with dogs of different personalities, including shy, energetic, and rescue dogs. I understand that every dog is unique, so I always adapt my approach to their needs and temperament. In unexpected situations, I stay calm and act responsibly. If a dog becomes unwell or there is an emergency, I will contact the owner immediately and follow their instructions. If necessary, I will seek veterinary assistance without delay.
I am also happy to administer oral medication if clear instructions are provided by the owner. If your dog requires oral medication, I'll be happy to administer it according to your instructions.
I usually offer 30- or 60-minute walks, depending on your dog's needs and routine. I live in central Paris, so I can walk dogs in nearby parks, around my neighborhood, or close to your home—wherever your dog feels most comfortable and enjoys their walks.During every walk, my full attention is on your dog. I like to make sure they are safe, happy, getting enough exercise, and having fun. I always adapt the pace and activities to each dog's personality and energy level. I'm happy to keep you updated and will always respond to your messages as quickly as possible. During the walk, however, I prefer to focus on your dog rather than being on my phone, so I can give them my full attention and ensure their safety. After the walk, I'm happy to send you an update and photos if you'd like.
My goal is not only to walk a dog, but to make them feel secure, happy, and cared for while they are with me. While I am new to professional pet sitting, I have hands-on experience caring for my own rescue dog and have spent years around dogs. Rescuing, caring for, and training my dog taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog's behavior and needs. I always take the time to build trust with every pet and treat them with kindness, attention, and respect.
When I rescued my dog, he was very scared of people and the world around him. He had probably experienced difficult moments before I found him, so at first he was nervous, cautious, and did not easily trust new people.
I learned that patience was the most important thing. I never forced him into situations that made him uncomfortable. Instead, I slowly helped him build confidence through calm interactions, positive reinforcement, regular walks, and creating a safe routine where he could feel protected.
Little by little, he started trusting me and becoming more comfortable around people and new environments. Today, he is a happy and well-trained dog who listens to me, enjoys walks, and feels confident exploring the world.
This experience taught me how important it is to respect every dog's personality, understand their fears, and give them the time and support they need to feel safe.
I currently have a flexible schedule, so I'm available on most weekdays and weekends. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walks, visits, and caring for your pet without rushing. If I am caring for a pet in my home, I avoid leaving them alone for long periods. If I need to go out briefly, I always make sure they are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need.
